Prospective graduate students choose the School of Natural Sciences as a place to grow academically and personally. The academic and research programs in the School of Natural Sciences create an environment for excellence in student achievement and cutting-edge research in the broad areas of life, physical and environmental sciences.
The 2020 Project includes 1.2 million gross square feet (790,000 asf) of critically needed facilities. This will roughly double the physical capacity of the campus and will provide a way for UC Merced to address existing academic and student life needs and enable enrollment growth. Construction began in October 2016 and will be complete by Fall 2020. Learn more here.
