Graduate Housing at UC Merced

Graduate & Family Housing

UC Merced Housing and Residence Education is excited to offer graduate students on-campus housing in two of the campus’ most recently constructed residence halls.

Graduate student apartments are located on the first floors of Sentinel Rock and El Portal residence halls. Each apartment is designed to be shared by two graduate students. The apartments include two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a shared kitchen and living room.

The monthly rate for each student in an apartment is $1,000. The rate includes the furnished apartment, as well as water, sewer, electricity, trash and high-speed internet services.

In order to be eligible, students must be enrolled in eight to 12 credit hours per semester. Housing is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to international graduate students.
