Founded in 1855 Merced County has housed a multitude of historical events. Both San Francisco and in Monterey Bay, are just 2.5 hour drive from Merced and with Merced’s Regional Airport, you are a quick flight to Los Angeles and Oakland. The Amtrak is another affordable option to travel up and down the state of California.
